Student Software Developer (Part-time)

As a Student Software Developer, you will be part of a development team working on challenging user-driven projects designed to support decision making in complex environments. You need to have an aptitude for cross-team collaboration and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Activities: A Student Software Developer may either support or develop:

• - Java-based user interfaces
• - Flex-based user interfaces
• - Interactive GIS components
• - Databases
• - Distributed applications
• - Decision-support tools

Qualifications:

• - Java experience required
• - J2EE, XML experience desired
• - Website development experience (HTML, CSS, and PHP) desired
• - Flex development experience a plus

Work Hours: 15-20 hours per week for at least one year preferred. Work schedule is flexible, and can be tailored to accommodate academic commitments. The opportunity to work full-time during school breaks is available to all student interns.

Hourly Rate: Competitive—Based on knowledge & experience.

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contract regulations.
